Our Story

Travel Wear for Summer

Stylishly-comfortable travel wear is the idea behind my creations. My 2-in-1 dresses can be worn 2 ways. You can wear it front to back or back to front. The 2 different necklines give 2 different looks.

This travel-friendly versatile dress eliminates the need to bring multiple dresses.  A single dress can be washed and worn again in another look.

These simple dresses are all you would want to wear exploring the city or country. Never run out of style designs that you can wear and love all the time!  Everytime !

Why use Cotton?

Dresses are made in quality 100% cotton, a natural material which is breathable and cool. Cotton provides good air flow and ventilation in hot weather, and absorbs sweat, allowing heat to escape from the body, so it will keep you cool and comfortable.

Cotton is hypoallergenic, which means it is anti-allergy for eczema-prone sensitive skin. It is also soft and smooth, so no itchy and scratchy material that will cause flare-ups in sensitive skin.

All 4 styles come in relaxed fits, which drape well for a flattering silhouette.

 No polyester?

Never, ever, wear polyester in summer. This common and popular fabric is travel-friendly and wrinkle-resistant, but it also traps heat and sweat. Wearing polyester is like wearing a plastic bag. In fact, polyester is plastic.

Polyester is a man-made synthetic fabric that is not breathable (allows air circulation, moisture absorption), so when you are perspiring, your body heat and sweat gets trapped inside the clothing, finding no way of release.

This build-up will cause you to feel hot, sticky, uncomfortable and smelly. If you sweat in a polyester garment, it will take on your body odour in the long term, even after extensive washing. Polyester holds on to odours much more than cotton, because bacteria that cause odour grow better on polyester, according to research. So, your polyester clothing will perpetually smell horrid.

To be fair, polyester has its uses. Modern polyester with moisture wicking technology are used in sports wear. They should only be worn when exercising vigorously and sweating profusely. Here, polyester is the better choice. Then, the polyester T-shirt dries faster, while the cotton T will be damp and heavy, and will take a longer time to dry. If a lot of fast motion is not involved, like in daily life activities, then cotton is the better choice.

It can also be good to keep warm in winter, or in a cool air-conditioned place. It can be good in a winter situation, where any moisture that accidentally got on clothing evaporates quickly, and keeps you dry, not damp and chilly.

 How about blends?

Semi-synthetic fabrics are manufactured from natural raw materials such as wood pulp and tree bark, but are chemically treated to get the final product, such as viscose (the same material by other names  - rayon/modal/lyocell/tencel).

I have tried blended dresses, and feel that blends of cotton with semi-synthetics of viscose, are still quite stuffy and uncomfortable.

They cannot beat the comfort of pure natural fibres, such as cotton !
